CHICKEN STORY TIME

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to story time at the library, of course! The children like the chicken, the chicken likes the children, and everyone loves story time. So it’s no surprise that more children (and more chickens!) get in on the fun until there are more kids and critters than the librarian knows what to do with. Luckily, she comes up with a creative solution and manages to find little R & R for herself.
HURRY UP AND WAIT

THE SECRET OF THE SOAP AND SPIN

Are there really secrets lurking in the dusty corners of the local laundromat? Melanie is a second grader who lives two apartments away from Victor, a fourth grader. They play together a lot — especially on laundry day. But when they meet a mysterious fifth grader named Annie, she challenges them to find out if the rumors are true: is the old, broken down blue dryer in the back of the local laundromat really a portal to another world? The trio goes on journey to see what they can discover about some people who have gone missing — including Victor's mother — without getting caught by “The Broom”, the grumpy, old guy who runs the laundromat. Everyone knows you can’t get inside a dryer, but no one knows what might come out of one! Graham’s newest play for Pollyanna Theatre is an imaginative and poignant story about children bravely coaching each other through the difficult (and sometimes soapy) waters of growing up.

IF WISHES WERE FISHES

Sarah ,Johnny, and Felicia are best friends. They can’t wait to get together every day! They play the best games and always support and encourage each other. One day, when they’re playing, they find a magic fish tangled in a net. The magic fish says that if they free him, he’ll grant them three wishes – one wish each. And that is when the trouble starts. In Hepp-Galvan's hilarious new play, these friends (and our young audience) learn to be grateful for what you have, to always appreciate the wonderful people in your life, and to be wary of talking fish.

For summer 2018, Pollyanna will bring back our wildly popular production that brings many different forms of transportation to life, ALL ABOARD. Davi is surprised to meet a visitor named Flash in her backyard but is very happy to help Flash figure out how to get home. Young audience members loved helping get Flash home in time for a very special delivery. Come back and join us for another visit to Davi’s backyard. And if you missed ALL ABOARD the first time, come join the fun for the first time.
