THE TEXAS CHILI QUEENS

by Kathleen Fletcher

June 21 - 30, 2019

Texas history is rich and flavorful, just like the chili made popular by a collection of entrepreneurial women in San Antonio in the 19th century. Set in a modern-day
elementary school, a 4th grade descendant of an original Chili Queen competes in a school-wide chili competition. Jumping between the past and present this multi-
generational historical story celebrates what everybody can bring to the table.
